Edison Cavani seemed to have buried his hatchet with teammate Neymar after insisting that Paris Saint-Germain must remain a “family” on the pitch to be successful. This comes after the Uruguayan and record signing £198million Neymar clashed over the taking of a penalty against Lyon.
Cavani addressed the issue for the first time Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.
“We are all different, we might all have different ways of living and seeing things. “But when we are on the pitch, we have to all work together. As if we’re a family to go towards the same objective, which is for the team to win.” He said
Cavani and Neymar scored in the match and the two celebrated the two goals together which suggests that they have resolved their conflict.
