Winner Of French 2017 Presidential Election -Emmanuel Macron

Emmanuel Macron has won the French presidency in a decisive victory over the far-right Front National leader, Marine Le Pen,  by gaining 65.1% to Le Pen’s 34.9%.

Macron, the 39 years od president elect has vowed to restore France’s confidence and to  unite a divided and fractured France.

He vowed to “guarantee the unity of the nation” and “fight against all forms of inequality and discrimination”.

Emmanuel Macron is also the first president in modern French history who does not belong to a major political party and still wins the election. He is also the youngest president in  history of France so far.
